Another great article from the Echo on the progress of our new facility been built in Jobstown, the best Race club in Ireland is due to have its own home of champions by the end of summer and the excitement is barely containable amongst the committee, we are looking forward to signing up our new members and getting some wheels in motion it's been a long road but so worth it,

DC bmx are very proud to be able to post this video of our new track layout due to be completed summer 2018, the committee has put 100s of hours of work into this project for almost four years now with the full support of south Dublin county council and the man who bridged the gap between dream and reality with hours of meetings gathering support and ensuring all obstacles were mere small speed bumps Cathal King,
seen the ground break next march will be such a relief and the beginning of something new exciting and potentially life changing for the population of Tallaght and further a field, the benefits to local children are countless and invaluable, we believe the immediate local community of Jobstown will benefit in so many ways that the addition of the track amongst the other facilities locally will be the turning point that people will look back in the future and clearly distinguish the bmx club as the asset that made jobstown one of the finest communities in Ireland,
We at DC would also like to acknowledge a really important man who's involvement in making this project a reality was instrumental, David Dillon who sadly passed away was also the man like Cathal who bridged the gap solidly between dream and reality at the very early stages, Rip David your family should be very proud when the facility is up and running and your memory will always live on there, Big thank you also to our families for putting up with us through this and to our friends who are sick of listening about it, your support is invaluable, Happy Christmas to you all and happy new year it's going to be a big one for DC BMX
