We are a traditional skiff rowing club based in the heart of the Dublin in the parish of Ringsend. It was named after our parish church St. Patrick .

Our club was formed in 1935-36 and is the first skiff rowing club in Ringsend parish. by the late Paddy (Nipper) Breslan, Jamsie Geoghan and Walter McFarlane jack (saw) cox - muddler mcDonnell - Lordy murphy - who were all confraternity men in Ringsend Church. Yesterday we travelled to scotmans Bay in sandycove for Regatta what a fantastic day it was congratulations to dalkey on hosting a very smooth running regatta, we'd like to congratulate all our crews who participated yesterday and too All our supporters who cheered on each crew! The rain held off and the sun was shining!

U14 girls 2nd

Interwomen A 2nd

Yesterday some of the lads from our club decided to hang up their oars and throw on their football boots to take part in the Dublin Port tournament in aid of the FΓ©ileacΓ‘in they played 3 matches unfornately losing 2 of them which got them knocked out of the tournament but well done to them taking part for such an amazing charity, congratulations to for organising it was a super day and super thanks to the supporters to cheer on the Men playing the tournament! We will say one thing though stick to the rowing lads πŸ˜…πŸ’š

On Sunday the 1st regatta on the cards was held by St Michaels Rowing Club in Dunloghaire and what a successful day it was at the office! Unfortunately the weather was a bit hit and miss but that didn't stop our crews from preforming and putting in a huge Club spirit in to help other crews getting in and out of their boats. We'd like to thank Dunloghaire for a very Well run regatta and kick starting the Season!

Official regatta dates for 2026, slight change on the card with a change of the bray regatta, tomorrow our crews will travel to Dunloghaire to kick start the 1st regatta on the cards, We would like to wish all our crews the very best of luck the hard work has been put in the past 6 weeks we can't wait to hear our supporters cheer them on from the sidelines! On Monday the 18th annual May Day Parade was held by ringsend and irishtown community center, as always it's a fun fulfilled day, We would like to thank our members and supporters who came to march in the parade beside the boat and of course our Juniors who Sat in our boat it's great to see all the community take part in a great event! On Friday the 24th of April the cheque presentation for the in Aid of the took place, in total €16,000 was raised to go a fantastic group of people, thanks to Philip Murphy, Richard Saunders and Dave Cox who went to the Yacht Club to hand over the cheques to the RNLI and huge congratulations to all crews supporters and everyone who donated to such a good cause. .coastrowing
