On Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending the Christening of my first two weight champion, , with her 2 girls & partner , followed by cornering as he won the pro-am Irish title. Connor showcased his skills against a strong opponent who was dangerous until the end. "Frangus non Flectus" - "I may bend, but I do not break."
An ineffable thank you to all of the supporters and the WMO as well as Sarah & Ben for allowing and myself to be a part of your special day.

In the heat of the action . Providing sports commentary is not just about calling the shots, it's about embodying the passion and discipline of the athletes we admire. This picture of and myself captures a moment of deep focus and dedication, values I've drawn from the principles of Stoicism and my love for Muay Thai. π₯π₯
Reflecting on my journey, here are three practical takeaways that have fueled my personal growth:
1. **Embrace Adversity**: Just like in Muay Thai, life throws punches. Instead of avoiding challenges, face them head-on. Every setback is a setup for a stronger comeback. Resilience is built through hardship.
2. **Focus on What You Can Control**: Stoicism teaches us to concentrate on our own actions and reactions. In the commentary booth and in life, it's vital to maintain our composure and effort, regardless of external circumstances. Control your mindset and let go of what you cannot change.
3. **Pursue Excellence Daily**: Whether it's refining your commentary skills or perfecting a Muay Thai technique, consistent, dedicated practice is key. Strive for incremental improvement every day, and over time, you'll achieve greatness.
Special thanks to for capturing the moment and my incredible co-commentator for his unwavering support and expertise. Your insights and camaraderie make every broadcast an enriching experience. ποΈπ
