Big thank you to the Wexford All Blacks AFC who hosted Dalkey United u15 girls and u12 girls over the last 2 weekends.
There was some great football and goals with a diplomatic Win, Draw and Loss across the 3 games!
Big thank you to Bridget and all the All Blacks players, coaches and parents for the warm welcome and after match spreads.
We look forward to hosting you in Dalkey soon.

Congratulations to Dalkey United’s Leo Marnell who was invited to spend a week training with the Bray Wanderers Academy.
Leo is part of Rob Dickson’s U15 team and has been with Dalkey United since the Academy.
All at the club are very proud of Leo’s progress. Leo is also part of the Leinster hockey academy so his dedication is being rewarded across multiple sports.
Leo had a great week at the Carlisle Grounds before returning to Rob’s U15 squad. Everyone at Dalkey United is very grateful to all at Bray Wanderers for their expertise, attention and encouragement.

🙏 We were delighted this week that some great supporters of Dalkey United were able to spare some time to present medals on Monday afternoon.

⚽️ Our local TD and Minister for Health is a tireless supporter of the club and she found some time in her busy schedule on Monday to present medals to winners (and some tearful losers).

⚽️ We are proud of our association with DLR Waves and it was a real thrill for all our players that Keelin Dodd and Megan Doyle came along and joined in the fun

We were also delighted to see Irish rugby legend Ciaran Fitzgerald at the Champions League. Ciaran is a familiar face supporting his grandchildren in the club and he was on hand to present medals to the winners in the U10/U11 boys’ group, among them his grandson Ethan.

⚽️ Our 2013 M1 girls were disappointed to lose their semi-final in the Albert Johnston Cup today.

It was a hard fought contest against a very strong Premier Malahide team and we congratulate Malahide on their 4-2 win.

The Dalkey girls had an excellent run to the semi- finals playing against higher league opposition in each round of this competition.

🙏We wish Malahide the very best of luck for their upcoming cup final vs Portmarnock AFC.

We were honoured to have Paul McGrath, Dalkey United’s greatest ever player and Ireland’s greatest every player, at day one of our Champions League today.

Paul’s legend has never dimmed as could be seen from the way all ages flocked to him. Thank you Paul for giving so much of your time to our club.

An epic match took place at Hudson Road on Tuesday night in the quarter final of the Albert Johnston Cup, So epic and tense that nobody took a picture! But it was all in a good cause as the Dalkey United U13M1 side showed extraordinary heart to overcome a brave and skilful Rosemount side in extra time.
The girls were back at training the next night but there were plenty of cookies and jellies as a reward for their efforts. Well done girls and best of luck in the semifinal!
