Thanks to everyone who joined Ian and his brilliant volunteer team this morning.

It was a milestone morning for Maria and Bibiana celebrating their 250 and 50 milestones.
We had visitors, Emma from Ardgillan parkrun , Emily and David from Conyngham Hall parkrun 🇬🇧 and Steve from Sixmilewater parkrun in N Ireland.

Junior parkrunner Orla Q. was a first time volunteer and Michael Lester reached a brilliant 200 volunteer credits this morning too !

Teresa is a member of Lucan Harriers AC and splits her parkrunning between Griffeen parkrun and us. She started her parkrunning in 2018.

We welcomed two first-time parkrunners to the parkrun family and even better we had three first time volunteers join us too

What a stunner of a morning we had on Saturday 23rd May☀️

The sun shone for our 535th event - we had 81 runners & walkers out enjoying Waterstown Park with us.

Sharon for signing & to our 14 amazing volunteers who made it all run smoothly
- we can’t do it without you 💗

It was also great to have Garrett visiting from St Anne's parkrun - they’re gearing up for their summer concerts next weekend - yup CMAT and Snow Patrol!

Ian is your RD next Saturday- he could do with a few more volunteers.

No parkrun milestones to celebrate this morning so as we see increased numbers of parkrunners without their barcodes at the finish line just a reminder about the new parkrun app.

The parkrun app is our official app and is available free of charge from Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store.

The app has been designed specifically for parkrunners with all of your parkrun information to access your result history and the latest results for each event worldwide. You can also find new parkrun locations and complete challenges to enhance your parkrun experience and have your barcode easily accessible each Saturday

🗣️ Chat to the RD at your next parkrun

A quieter than normal parkrun this morning with 58 parkrunners and 11 volunteers joining us before the rain arrived.
We had visitors from Navan parkrun Bushy Dublin parkrun Griffeen junior parkrun Corkagh parkrun and Paul all the way from Southampton parkrun 🇬🇧

Even with smaller numbers and no official milestones, we always have someone to celebrate and this morning one of our regular juniors Cillian D. finished second with a new PB, Niall Mathews reached his 350th parkrun, PJ Graham completed his first ever parkrun and four other parkrunners Martin Finn, Catherine Maher Mary Downey, Brian Harraghy all achieved a new course PB.
