Congratulations to Gary Healy as he was part of the Dublin team who regained the Davy Hayden Challenge in Old County.

This weekend, Gary and the Dublin team will be in action in the All-Ireland Inter County Finals in Navan.

The club has 10 tickets for the Pitch and Putt Ireland grand draw in December with one ticket winning a Toyota Corolla Hybrid valued at €35,000

If anyone is interested in a ticket, joining a syndicate as a group to buy tickets, please get in touch.

For example:

€2 a week for the next 10 weeks between 5 people will get a ticket

Congratulations to our Loughlinstown Team 1 who took the top spot in the All-Ireland Inter Club qualifiers in Stackallen today.

Some great performances throughout with Ken Butler & JR Crangle shooting a 47 in the doubles ably assisted by a 49 by Chris Cawley & Stephen Finn. Some vital late putts by Graham McKeown kept himself and Eoin Mithen adding to the score and a team total of -13.

In the singles, JR Crangle top scored with a 45 with Eoin a 49 and Stephen a 50, which gave a nice cushion for the others who all dropped scores but a total of -20 was brilliant going on a tough windy day in Meath.

Team 2 were also in action later in the afternoon, with a good doubles again helping them to a -14 total with Hubert Kelly & Ciaran McCormack shooting 46, Justin Gill & Eamon Quill a 49 and John Boyle & Niall Bennett a 53.

In the singles though, things didn't go to plan as although Hubert shot a 48, the others struggled in the tough conditions to miss out on qualification by 3 shots.

A mixed day for the club but everyone represented us with aplomb. The finals take place on October Bank Holiday weekend in Lucan

We have a WINNER

LINUS HARTMANN WINS 3&2

Congratulations on a brilliant win to our young star only 15yrs of age. His first night in the club was with Connor when they watched the final 2yrs ago when Niall Bennett won, so its great to see his progress in such a short amount of time.

Hard luck to Niall but another superb performance, Justin Gill took 3rd with a 2up win over Ciaran McCormack.

We also had our Presidents Prize Presentation with Lena Hobbs presenting Debbie Donohoe with her Prize and others too.

The Semi-Finals of our Mick Bagnall Shield take place over the next couple of evenings with two cracking matches to come.

Linus Hartmann has been sensational this year, especially in the quarter final and could a juvenile member win the title! He's playing Justin Gill tonight in the first Semi-Final in a repeat of their group game.

In fact, Group 2 must have been the group of death as 3 of the players make the Semi-Final with Ciaran McCormack taking on former winner Niall Bennett on Wednesday
