Now a couple weeks off sailing and then back training to a camp in Barcelona⛵️💨 Then the next eurocup in Cavalier is just behind the corner🏋🏽‍♂️ and we will be up there fighting for victory🏆

Finnish team of the year 2017!

Last Saturday we attended the Finnish sailing and boating federations, Finland 100 years gala. We had a tasty dinner and a throwback of the past season with prize giving. What an honour to be named Finnish team of the year 2017.

Big congratulations also to our coach Sam McKenzie for being the junior coach of the year 2017 and big congratulations also to our home club Brändö Seglare Youth named the junior club of the year 2017!

UPDATE: Thanks for the 600 likes! The 2014 Europeans was definetely one to remember. A quick update on the 2014 Team. Lili and Ville continue their victorous ride in the optis. Mainio graduated from optis last year and moved on to Lasers. Jon is splitting his time between Europe dinghy and learning the ropes on big boats. Also Martta moved on to sail Europe dinghy. Ronja championed the Zoom class and sails in Lasers and 29rs, as does Elias. Last but not least, coach Vili was elected as the Coach of the Year by the Finnish Sailing Federation and continues to coach the next generation of champions. See you guys around!

IODA News & general info TUR sailed a very good championship, as they only lost two of their matches, one against IRL on the second day of racing, and against POL today. ESP, who has won the championship for the last three years, could only finish second. POL finished third, just one point behind ESP.
