Definitely an event for the calendar in 2025.

Entries are already coming in for the 2025 edition of the Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta, and our early bird incentive will see all paid entries received by December 31st 2024 entered into a draw to win their entry fee back.

The regatta team are hard at work, planning for another great event and introducing some innovations to keep the offering fresh and relevant. Included in these are the Bay Race, the regatta opener on Thursday, which will see most boats start off the same line, a performance division in the non-Spinnaker fleet and an introductory cruiser class.

Also, in a new innovation for 2025, we have appointed a visitor's co-ordinator. Kate Fogarty will assist with accommodation and travel needs of visitors to Dun Laoghaire. Day 2 of the Irish Shipman Association National Championship and the results are in. Congratulations to all the competitors, but especially the overall championship winners, Jo Slim (Scratch), The Den (Handicap), and Bluefin (White Sails). See the results.

2021 John Masterton's Curraglass of the National Yacht Club is the 2021 Shipman Irish National Championship winner after a four race series on Dublin Bay, hosted by the Dun Laoghaire Motor Yacht Club.
