Unfortunately it wasn’t to be for the lads yesterday in the Super Cup NI Bowl Final with a narrow 2-1 loss to English Championship side Middlesbrough FC. Oisin Drumgoole pulled one back from the penalty spot after Middlesbrough went 2 goals in front. However an equalizer eluded Dundalk and ultimately again they lost out to a top English academy by the barest of margins.
Super Cup NI was an unforgettable experience for the players, coaches and parents. The lads did themselves and the league proud on and off the pitch which was recognized by the Super Cup NI in their awarding of “Premier Section Most Sporting Boys Team 2024” to the team. Well done to all involved👏⚫️🔴

It took a penalty shootout to get the lads over the line in the semifinal of the Super Cup NI Bowl. Next up is English Championship side Middlesbrough FC in the final of the Super Cup NI Bowl in Limavady Showgrounds at 4pm.

The boys face Otago FC from New Zealand today in the Bowl Semi Final after finishing third in the group. The final two group games saw defeat to Londonderry and a narrow 1-0 loss to Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion FC. The lads are doing the league proud with their performances so far and hopefully they can continue that today and get themselves into a final 🔴⚫️

Match Report: Dundalk SBL vs Inter Connecticut FC
Dundalk SBL opened their Super Cup NI campaign against Inter Connecticut FC. A long range goal mid way through the second half from the Statesiders did not deter the Dundalk boys in making a late comeback. Mylka Kaloso was the man to strike late and earn Dundalk a well deserved point. Dundalk’s whole squad contributed to an intense and memorable game. The respect between the two teams at games end displayed the battle that had preceded.
