The morning after the night before. Who would have thought it? A season with a huge divide between club and fans. Huge unrest at management level, with the season showing us 3 managers, and 4 different management changes. Two pathetic transfer windows, and an exit from champions league that was only befitting of the attempt by the club at competing in such a prestigious tournament. Jock Stein himself and all the Lions, would turn in their graves, had they had to endure our performance and exit to Karat Almaty.

The colour and the noise was missed at the stadium, with an extended ban for the Green Brigade that saw the roar at our beloved stadium reduced to a whimper. Did the powers that be take notice? Did they f**k... !!! A complete lack of respect for the support by the one of the main shareholders and the board, only compounded the frustration at all levels. The contempt for the other shareholders at the AGM in Ross Desmond's address was disgusting, and more disgustingly backed up and supported by the perma-tan Lawell. At that point, where did we see this season going?

Enter Martin O'Neill..... No disrespect to Nancy, but that is the only mention of his name that this post deserves. Enter Martin O'Neill again 😅🍀

This man managed to paper over the cracks. A 74 year old Irish man, who has no need to prove himself to the Celtic support. He took what we had left of a team and fired belief and heart into a somewhat demotivated squad. The belief came back, the results started to come. Games where we conceded, previously resulted in losses, but were being overturned. The gap was closing... The timing of substitutions, a rejuvenated and injury-free Kieran Tierney, a hungry Iheanacho off the bench, a motivated Maeda. A huge opportunity for Sinasalo, which he grasped with both gloves. Not forgetting the service of Kasper Schmeichel whilst obviously struggling with a serious injury. And cannot discredit our Irish hero in defence. Often unsung, Liam Scales had the season of his career. Our captain hero who never ever stopped and led by example all season 🍀🍀🍀

To pip McInnes on the last day at home after a victory over the blue side of Glasgow the week previous, just created a fairytale ending to a season that should never have been. Too many individual performances to mention in one post, but remembering important match winning goals by Tierney, Iheanacho, Ox, Nygren and Maeda. Not forgetting our Mexican hero Araujo in added time away to Kilmarnock to keep our title hopes alive.

So onto our amazing club and members 🙌🍀 And our home @ Kehoe's Bar .... we do the ups and downs together. There were few games in Glasgow that didn't see a travelling crew from the Táin Bhoys CSC ..... we were also represented in Ibrox and on many away days in Europe. We are only going from strength to strength. If we don't make Glasgow, we are celebrating in Kehoe's, and raising the roof with superb music from The Cooleys and Catalpa and Gary Lawlor Irish Music to name only a few. We cannot operate without the members support. We experience the highs and lows, and also the sheer ecstasy of the last two weeks.

None of it possible without our season ticket holders, who make their books available for circulation every week. And outside of this, the amazing support we get from the AICSC for additional matchday tickets. They make it possible for clubs like us to see our hero's without paying ticket tout prices 🍀🍀🍀 And our friends in Eire go Brach CSC and Paul Johnston CSC, who always make spaces on busses and boats for our members. And our own Paul Morris, who drives over and always offers a spare seat 🙌🙌🙌

With close of season now, we prepare for another season, hoping for huge changes at the higher levels within the club. Starting with the AICSC AGM in Cork in July (all welcome), we will set the wheels in motion for 26/27 and all things affecting the Irish support. We leave you all in the hysteric hangovers of the season, and thank each and everyone of you for being part of our amazing club. As a man way better qualified than me to say it once said "football without fans, is nothing"....

The board would do well to take note. Hail f**king hail 🍀🍀🍀

What a day we had on Saturday. With retro jerseys and memories of Love Street in full flow, Celtic had it all to do at Paradise. Anything other than a win would see us lose the title. And we did it in style. Coming back from 1-0 down to secure a 3-1 win and a 56th League Title 🍀🍀🍀 With good representation from the club already over in Glasgow, the rest of us were confined to Kehoe's Bar, where the celebrations continued well into the evening with The Cooleys lifting the roof with a hell of a set. Thanks to all our members for joining us, to Glen Woods for the customary curry, and to everyone at Kehoes Bar for looking after us on the day. We go again Saturday to attempt the Double against Neil Lennons Dunfermline AC.... 🏆🏆

Throwback to our membership night on 14th December in Kehoe's Bar ..... Although the result didn't go our way, we welcomed members new and old for Christmas drinks, as we do every year.

We had a fantastic set of music after the game from The Cooleys, who literally lifted the roof.

The raffle raised €500, and our supporters club committee have agreed to match that amount, bringing the total donation to €1000.

Thanks to everyone who donated prizes for the raffle, to the staff of Kehoes Bar, Glenn Woods for the curry, The Cooleys for the Music, and our members who continue to support anything we do.
