🚴♂️ LOUTH COASTAL TOUR 2026 – ENTRIES NOW OPEN!

Drogheda Wheelers is delighted to announce that entries are now open for the 15th edition of the Louth Coastal Tour, taking place on Sunday, 8 November!
Once again, we’re delighted to use this event to raise funds for two organisations that mean a huge amount to our club and the wider community – Donore National School and St John Ambulance, Drogheda.
For over 25 years, Donore National School has generously supported Drogheda Wheelers by making its facilities and equipment available for our events. The school’s support has played an invaluable role in helping us promote cycling in the local community.
Similarly, St John Ambulance has provided tremendous support to cycling events over many years, with its dedicated volunteers helping to keep riders, spectators and the wider public safe. Their contribution extends far beyond cycling, providing vital first aid and medical assistance throughout our communities.
Both organisations do so much for others and this event is our opportunity to give something back and show our appreciation.
🚴 Two Route Options:
* Long Route: Approximately 80–90km
* Short Route: Approximately 45–55km
Routes will be controlled at an average speed of approximately 25–28km/h with lead cars, moto-marshals and medical support in attendance.
☕ We’ll finish back at Donore National School for refreshments and a catch-up afterwards!
