Dungarvan Golf Club

Our President David Crowley held his Presidents Prize over the weekend. The timesheet was jam packed in advance of the competition and despite heavy downpours over the weekend there was some great scoring.

Congratulations to Katherine Morrissey who won first prize to the ladies and Mark Sheehan who won first prize to the men. Congratulations to all the prize winners (full list below). Thank you to our course, restaurant, office and pro shop staff, for all their assistance and hard work leading up to and over the weekend. Thank you to the President’s Prize committee and both Men’s and Ladies committees for their great assistance in ensuring the smooth running of the competition.

Thank you to everyone that helped take competition entries on Friday and Saturday and to all those who help behind the scenes at every major competition with scoreboard set up, clubhouse decorating and the important inputting of scorecards & results. These major competitions require a huge amount of work, and we are truly blessed to have so many wonderful members who generously give up their time year after year to help make these events such a success.

Dungarvan Golf Club Dungarvan Golf Club is an 18 hole championship parkland course located outside the town of Dungarvan, County Waterford. The course is adjacent to Dungarvan Bay, the Waterford Greenway and set against the back drop of the Comeragh Mountains.

Autumn Open Week 2026 takes place from Monday 14th to Sunday 20th September.
