DAFM 5yo classes helping the 5yos with their confidence over the rounds.

This Vagabond mare started her career this year with a 1m reg show in April after going to a couple of 80/90 training shows. Her first 5yo DAFM class was the two day show in Millstreet where she was double clear both days.

Her strength, balance and confidence grew with every outing and these DAFM classes formed the basis for her Dublin Horse show 5yo qualifiers where she did get a golden ticket by placing 2nd.

She continued her 'training' at the DAFM classes by competing in the finals in Mullingar with another set of double clears both days and competing in the jump off to place 2nd.

Her scope and attitude are fantastic and we are looking forward to seeing her in Dublin. It will be another huge step up as she has not been there before.

GLIDAWN BELLINI reg. bay geld. 5 yrs. about 17.1h. by KASHMIR VAN SCHUTTERSHOF dam CATINKA by CORNET OBOLENSKY.
By one of the leading sires in the world. Dam is a full sister to Conte Bellini who was a 5 Star 160 showjumper placed 6th in the Göthenborg World Cup Final. Dam also a half sister to Monte Bellini.

This is an exceptional horse with a great temperament.
Exceptionally well bred, great potential. Always clear. Has a big future. Highly regarded.

What a great day at Charleville Sunday

Horses jumped superbly and Gemma placed in every class. Finishing 1,2,3,5,10 in the 115
1,3,4,5 in the 125
5, 7 in the 140 national GP!

115 recap:
Virtuoso Doletta the 5yo stepped up to 115 on grass with an unlucky pole at the last fence which was a double going to hill and she rolled the back pole of the oxer. She's a quick mare though posting the fastest time....
The two other 5yos Stakatto Gold and Emerald jumped superbly in the 115 finishing dbl clear. Tyson (2nd place) and Vivant (temp ticket) geldings again showing up.

In the 125 6yo Minty skipped round like the fences weren't there and 8yo Tyson showed a foot perfect round with scope to burn. 8yo My Private Dancer finished top of the leader board and the lovely Cicero mare now back in for the season jumped dbl clear to slot into 5th.
Lui the Luidam stallion had a rub at one vertical in the 140GP and finished a respectable 7th in a tough class. Kong the 7yo was 5th in this class ⭐ and jumped amazingly again.

Watch this clever 4yo shorten himself naturally the second time going down this line. Asked a question of him today as he has been happily popping over 70/80/90cm.

Loads of scope. Athletic and very light across and over the ground.

Would make a super eventer!
