Show your support for the Lough and give it a share

Come and join us at Washingbay or Ballyronan, or support any of the other shorelines that will be filled with song on Sunday 19th April.

We will be raising our voices in song, calling for urgent action for the restoration of Lough Neagh.

It is a real joy to be singing on the same day on different shores around the lough with Lisburn Harmony and Antrim Community Choir

Unfortunately we have to cancel the upcoming boat rally fundraiser due to the event clashing with multiple other events happening the same day . This was to be a fundraising event to support Swlnria but if there is multiple other events happening the same day we’re just not going to get the support due to other events . The long range forecast isn’t looking too promising either. However I do plan to organise a charity football match for September so keep an eye on the page for updates.

Boat run to Blackwatertown Sunday 8th June. This is not a boat rally or fundraiser, only an opportunity for fellow boaters to get out for a run during the Sunday. Music, food and drinks served in Mor Coffee House all day overlooking the Blackwater. Everyone welcome. Please share 🛥️ 🚤 🛥️ arrive anytime from 2pm-6pm

Big ring round the moon tonight . The old people used to say it was a sign of bad weather.
Anyone got any old sayings regarding the weather . Swans leaving the rivers heading to the Lough was a sign of good weather coming. Anyone any more ?
