And that’s a wrap for our U6s! 💙🤍

The 2026 season has come to an end, bringing with it over 30 training sessions and 6 mini blitz competitions filled with fun, learning and great memories.

To celebrate all their hard work and commitment throughout the year, each player was presented with a sliotar and a certificate to mark their achievements.

A huge thank you to our fantastic coaches who gave so generously of their time and energy throughout the season: Helen, Claire, Lisa, Edel, Ger, Martin, John & Deirdre.

Your dedication, patience and enthusiasm helped create a fun and encouraging environment where our young players could develop their skills, build friendships and grow their love for camogie.

Well done to all our U6 players. We are so proud of the progress you have made this year and look forward to seeing you back again next season!

The future is bright for Kilmaley Camogie. 💙🤍

🏐 Best of luck to Fergus Rovers Ladies Gaelic Football Club and Kilmurry Ibrickane Ladies Club in tomorrow’s Clare LGFA Senior Final.

With Kilmaley camogie players proudly represented on both panels, we find ourselves in the unusual position of having to remain completely neutral for the occasion!

We are delighted to see so many of our players involved on such a big day for ladies football in Clare. Representing your club, parish and community on county final day is a special achievement and one that should be enjoyed.

We wish both Fergus Rovers and Kilmurry Ibrickane, along with their players, management teams and supporters, the very best of luck. We have no doubt it will be a fiercely contested final and a great occasion for Clare LGFA.

A special word of encouragement to our own players involved. We’ll be cheering every score, every catch and every tackle, regardless of the colours being worn.

May the best team win... and if anyone asks who we were supporting afterwards, we’ll simply reply: “Ah sure look...” 😄💙🤍

🔵⚪ Kilmaley U10s On Tour! ⚪🔵

Our U10 Camogie girls were on the road today, making the trip to to take part in a series of mini games.

The girls had a fantastic day, displaying great skill, teamwork and determination in every game. They played some excellent camogie and represented the club brilliantly from start to finish.

There was plenty of fun off the pitch too, with the girls singing their hearts out all the way home after a memorable day together!

Days like these are invaluable as our young players continue to develop their camogie skills, build confidence, and create friendships that will last for years to come.

Well done girls, and thanks to all the coaches, mentors and parents who made the trip possible, and to Athenry for hosting us.

🔵⚪ CLARE SENIOR CAMOGIE CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL | FULL TIME 🔵⚪

Kilmaley 1-8
Truagh-Clonlara 0-16

Our championship journey came to an end today as Truagh-Clonlara claimed the title on a scoreline of 0-16 to 1-8.

Finals are won and lost on scoreboards, but they do not define a team. This Kilmaley team has shown incredible commitment, resilience and spirit throughout the season, and every player can be immensely proud of what they have achieved in the blue and white jersey.

In today’s match, Truagh-Clonlara made a strong start and took a commanding 0-11 to 0-3 lead into the break.

What followed was a display of character, determination and pride that epitomised everything this group stands for. Every player dug deep, fought for every ball and never stopped working for one another. Kilmaley matched their opponents throughout the second half, refusing to let the game drift away and showing tremendous heart in the face of adversity.

A goal with five minutes remaining reduced the deficit to just three points and sparked hopes of a dramatic finish. The girls continued to push, battle and believe right to the final whistle.

While the result did not go our way, the progress made by this team throughout the year has been remarkable. This group has grown with every game and has represented the club with pride, passion and togetherness from start to finish.

Heads high, girls. The entire club is proud of you. The future is bright. 💙🤍
