Females from around the country met today in Portarlington to train together. The ITA Women's Committee held two sessions, the first for Black Belts and the second Colour Belts. These were followed up with the participants going for lunch together, getting to know each other outside the Dojang.

The Women's Committee would like to thank Master Stobie and Miss Stobie for hosting the event and to all the participants who made it what it was.

WORLD CUP TEAM 🇮🇪

A big welcome home to our Ennis TKD students who recently participated in the World Cup in Benidorm.

Congratulations to John Tobin, Blake Dullaghan, Lucas Ryan and Mike Flynn, along with Aodha Marrinan and Rhys Flynn, who are missing from our group photo.

A special congratulations to Mike Flynn, who brought home two fantastic medals
🥉 Bronze – Team Patterns
🥈 Silver – Team Sparring

While the others didn’t come away with medals this time, they all performed excellently and represented Ennis TKD with great pride.

We are incredibly proud of all six students for their hard work, dedication and commitment in preparing for and competing at this level.

The experience gained in Benidorm is something they can build on as they continue their Taekwon-Do journey.

Well done to you — you have made all of us at Ennis TKD very proud 👏👏👏

If you are female, a student, parent, friend please take a couple of minutes to complete the form below. This is looking at what can help females take up martial arts 👊

We are looking at what encourages girls and women to get involved in martial arts, as well as the barriers that may stop them from starting. Your answers will help us understand how martial arts clubs can become more welcoming, accessible and appealing to girls and women.
