🎾 Leinster Winter League – Round 1 Update!
An action-packed opening round with tense deciders and huge heart across all three teams! Here’s how the action unfolded:
🏆 Division 1 (Home vs. Wexford): 4–0 WIN
A fantastic clean sweep at home! Don’t let the scoreline fool you—two matches went right down to the wire, with our side showing incredible focus to win both championship tiebreaks! 💪
⚡ Division 2 (Home vs. Kilkenny): 1–3 LOSS
A real battle of fine margins! So close to securing a 2–2 draw, just missing out on a championship tiebreak. Two matches went to super tiebreaks, showing just how close this tie was!
💙 Division 3 (Away vs. Gorey): 0–4 LOSS
A tough day away, but the score doesn’t tell the full story. The team got off to a flying start and put in a brilliant effort early on. Just couldn’t get over the line in the end, but huge credit for the fight shown!
🔥 First games down and everything still to play for! Onward to the next round! 🎾✨

A little late to the party… but we’re firm believers that Global Coaches Day should be a weekend-long celebration! 🎉🎾

So, this weekend, we’re celebrating our fantastic coach Ashley Wynne! 💙

Ashley is always there to help, encourage, motivate and, of course, keep us on our toes! She’s a brilliant coach, a fantastic role model and a huge part of what makes our club so special. We’re lucky to have you, Ashley! 👏🎾

Here’s to coaches who do so much more than just coach — thank you, Ashley! 🥰
