🏑 EHC AGM - YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU!

Our Annual General Meeting takes place this Friday, 4th September at 7pm in Active Astro, and we'd really encourage our members and parents to come along.

As Enniscorthy Hockey Club continues to grow, so does the work involved in keeping everything running and we need more people willing to get involved.

We would especially love to see more senior players and parents from our junior section consider joining the committee. Having people from across all areas of EHC means every section of the club has a voice and the workload can be shared between more people.

You don't need years of hockey experience or loads of spare time. Even giving a small amount of your time, ideas or skills can make a real difference.

Most importantly, please don't assume someone else will do it. Clubs like ours are run by volunteers, and if we want EHC to continue to grow and thrive, we need people from within our club community to help make that happen.

If you've ever thought about getting involved, this is the year to do it!

🏑 A first for Leinster South!

A brilliant weekend for boys' hockey as the first-ever Leinster South Boys Development Team took part in the District Cup - with EHC's Danny between the posts!

The Leinster South side was significantly the youngest team in the competition but put in a fantastic performance to finish 3rd overall - a great result for their first outing together. 👏

And the official photographer even managed to catch a few of Danny's saves in action! 📸

It's great to see more opportunities opening up for boys' hockey in the South East and even better to see EHC represented.

The future of boys' hockey is looking bright! 👏

🏑 U14 BOYS - WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
Enniscorthy Hockey Club is hoping to form an U14 Boys team for the coming season, and we're currently looking for expressions of interest.

Whether you're already playing hockey or would like to give it a go, we'd love to hear from you!

At this stage, we're gathering names to see if we have enough players to get a team up and running for the season ahead. 🏑

We're hoping to get started on 12th/13th August, depending on numbers, with Friday, 21st August confirmed as the official start of pre-season.

League action isn't far away:
🏑 Challenge League – 12th September
🏑 Division 11 – 19th September

💳 Membership
Hockey Ireland membership is now open, and club membership can also be paid. Please make sure you're registered before the new season gets underway.

🙋 We're looking for volunteers!
Our club is always on the lookout for volunteers and coaches across all age groups. Whether you can coach, help with training, or lend a hand behind the scenes, your support makes a huge difference.

🏑 End of Season Awards Night 2025/26 🏆

What a fantastic way to round off an incredible season!

A huge thank you to Enniscorthy Rugby Club for providing the venue for our End of Season Awards Night for everyone to come together and celebrate.

The evening was a chance to reflect on a memorable year, recognise the achievements of our players, and celebrate the people who make our club such a special place.

The evening saw both our Ladies 1 and Ladies 2 teams presented with their Leinster medals, with captains Laura and Nicole giving wonderful speeches reflecting on a memorable season for both teams. Thanks to Graeme Hill for presenting the men’s section awards.

A special congratulations to Zilpha, who was named Club Person of the Year in recognition of all the time, effort and dedication she gives to the club.

☀️ SOCIAL HOCKEY IS BACK! 🏑

Looking for a fun way to spend a summer evening?
Join us every Wednesday from 17th June at Astro Active from 7:30pm–8:30pm for Social Hockey!

Open to everyone aged 15+, whether you're a current player, a former player, a parent, family member, friend, or someone who's never picked up a hockey stick before.

No commitment, no pressure, just an hour of hockey, fresh air, a bit of exercise, and plenty of laughs.

So grab a friend and come along! We'd love to see some new and familiar faces on the pitch this summer. 💚

🏑 Enniscorthy Hockey Club Awards Night 🏑

Enniscorthy Hockey Club would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Colin Campbell, who sadly passed away on Monday, 18 May.

Colin had strong links with the club over many years and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
