Reports are indicating that wearing a mask can be of benefit during Covid-19. This is providing that they are put on and removed correctly, used once and then washed before use again.
Masks can prevent your own droplet spread but they are not a protection against others.
HSE Social Distancing and Hand washing guidelines absolutely apply.
We can leave PPE for our medical and front line staff and make our own masks. If you are interested and / or can help, follow us here.
Over the next few days we will be posting instructions and coordinating materials.
