Last month we had the pleasure of hosting a number of creative dance workshops with local schools as part of Clifden Arts Festival.

The brilliant Melanin Tee and Emma O'Sullivan led these workshops, and had tons of fun teaching these wonderful kids some fun new moves.

Watch this space, we might have some new young dancers in the making!

A special thanks to our team member Giovana for her hard work on these workshops, and putting such a memorable series of events together!

We really looking forward to the Open Studio this Sunday at Galway Dance, hosted by Bernadette Divilly.

This is a two hour window of time and space, facilitated and held so that you have the option to:

- Take part in an hour of contemplative dance practice with focus on working with the elementary body.

- Use this time and space to contemplate how dance can support us in these times of challenge and change.

In the second hour there will be time for connection and exchange, and a cuppa.

Open Studio is free to attend to artists with a movement practice and beyond! We also welcome artists from any artform that have an interest in connecting across disciplines and moving together.

This open studio welcomes all of our diversity and dance experiences.

Fáilte roimh chách!
