🏸 A New Chapter for Oranmore Badminton Club 🏸

Following our AGM, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our outgoing committee for their hard work, dedication and commitment to Oranmore Badminton Club over the past year. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated and have helped make our club the welcoming and enjoyable place it is today.

We are also delighted to introduce our committee for the 2026/27 season:

We wish the new committee every success and look forward to working together for another great year of badminton.

Although our official season has come to an end, badminton continues throughout July and August on our regular Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and we hope to see plenty of familiar faces on court over the summer.

Martin will also continue to run our popular Beginners Badminton session on Sunday evenings at 8.00 pm. Whether you’re completely new to the game or returning after a break, everyone is welcome to come along and give badminton a try.

As we look ahead to September, we look forward to welcoming back all our existing members for another enjoyable season. We also extend a very warm welcome to new members of all ages and abilities who would like to join our friendly club.

Here’s to another year of great badminton, friendship and fun on and off the court. We look forward to seeing you all on court! 💙🏸

A fantastic evening of badminton, fun and friendly competition was enjoyed at Martin Flannery’s Sunday Night Members In-House Competition last Sunday evening.

A huge thank you to Martin for all his hard work, dedication and contribution to the beginners group throughout the year. His support, encouragement and organisation are greatly appreciated by all involved.

A huge congratulations to all Galway teams on a fantastic weekend at the Intercounty Championships, with outstanding success across multiple grades.

It was a brilliant achievement for Galway badminton, with players showing tremendous commitment, determination, teamwork and support throughout the competition.

A special well done also to all the Oranmore players involved across the different Galway teams. The club is extremely proud to see so many members representing Galway and contributing to such fantastic success.

Well done to all players, managers, coaches and supporters involved over the weekend. A fantastic occasion for Galway badminton and a wonderful reward for all the hard work put in throughout the season.
