Huge Congratulations to the Artistic Gymnastics WAG squad who represented Connaught at the Special Olympics Ireland Ireland Games.
Team Connaught brought home 9 gold medals, 6 silver, 6 bronze and a 4th place ribbon.
Well done to gymnasts Abbie, Ella, Robyn, Roisín and Vangeline. Many thanks to Connaught Head Coach Sam and to the chaperones Lesley & Juliana. Thanks to all the volunteers across the weekend, in particular the judges and those serving cups of tea and coffee! It was wonderful to meet the other WAG and MAG delegations, congratulations to all the gymnasts!

Congratulations to RGC Senior Kate Molloy 👏
Representing Ireland, Kate qualified to the uneven bars final at the Salamunov Memorial in first place and brought home the gold with a fantastic score of 11.9
The Irish Junior Womens Team took the team gold and there were 11 individual medals between the Juniors & Seniors. Huge congratulations to Roisín, Lauren, Estella, Mimi, Bláthnaid & Maeve 🇮🇪
A huge shout out to minor JJ Peters who competed in her first ever international placing 11th out of 88 gymnasts 🥳

RGC are proud to announce that gymnasts Robyn, Ella, Roisín & Vangeline have been selected to represent the Connaught region at the upcoming Ireland Games.
The gymnasts have been working hard in their squad sessions and joined the rest of the Connaught squad for the launch last Thursday.
The Ireland Games take place this month in Dublin, save the date!
We are wishing the gymnasts the very best in their final preparations. Thanks to and Special Olympics Connaught for the selection and opportunity.
