Important note to observe hedge cutting restrictions from the 1st of March to 31st of August (inclusive). Hedgerows are important wildlife refuges for nesting birds and are important habitats to address the biodiversity crisis. The most recent Birds of Conservation Concern in Ireland assessment showed that 25% of Ireland's regularly occurring bird species are in severe decline with an additional 37% showing moderate declines. Please respect the closed period and give nesting bird populations a chance.
