Smilies all round at a softball Smash Its blitz in Ballina Cricket Club Co. Mayo this week. Led by Cricket Ireland's Community Hub Co-ordinator Sarah Barry and assisted by the Connacht Cricket Union and Ballina CC members, the children of Ballina and County Galway Cricket Club had a fantastic time. More cricket events are in the pipeline for the Autumn 🏏💚

A triple treat of matches is on the cards in the Connacht Cricket Union this weekend.
In the Premier League University of Galway CC 1st clash with County Galway Cricket Club 1st hoping to gain pole position in the league. Shamrock Cricket Club Galway 1st will also challenging for lead position when they face Kilconnell Cricket Club1st.
Sunday sees the Division One league play out between University of Galway CC 2nds and Co. Galway CC 2nds. A win for UOG could give them a chance to run away with the competition. A determined Co. Galway side will have other ideas.
A cracking weekend of cricket is sure to guaranteed 🏏💚

The Connacht Cricket Union Junior Cup is on the line today in a final showdown between Shamrock Cricket Club Galway and Ballyhaunis Cricket Club. Both teams have played exceptional to reach the final. Best of luck to both teams 👏🏏 💚

A historic event unfolds this Saturday at the Kilconnell Cricket Club Oval. The inaugural Connacht Cricket Union Women's Invitational Trophy shall be contested between three clubs: County Galway Cricket Club, University of Galway Cricket Club and North Kildare Cricket Club. The one day event sees a round robin style tournament with teams playing 15 over side matches. This is the first of its kind women's competition organised by the CCU and it promises to be a great occasion of cricket in Cricket Ireland's newest provincial union🏏 💚

A thrilling Mayo derby of Ballina Cricket Club CC versus Ballyhaunis Cricket Club CC plays out in Balleek at the Ballina team home ground. If Ballina take advantage of home ground and glean a win they could place second in the league. However visitors Ballyhaunis will be the ones to watch out for at the Balleek Oval today 🏏
