Pregnancy is a beautiful and transformative time in a woman's life, but it can also be physically and emotionally challenging. This is where pregnancy yoga comes in - a safe and gentle practice designed to support the health and well-being of both the mother and the growing baby.

One of the main benefits of pregnancy yoga is that it helps to build strength, flexibility, and balance in the body. This can help to ease common pregnancy discomforts such as back pain, fatigue, and swelling, while also preparing the body for childbirth.

In addition, pregnancy yoga can help to reduce stress and anxiety by promoting relaxation and deep breathing. This can be especially helpful during labor and delivery, where calm and focused breathing can help to manage pain and reduce the risk of complications.

Another benefit of pregnancy yoga is the opportunity to connect with other expectant mothers in a supportive and nurturing environment. This can help to reduce feelings of isolation and anxiety, while also providing a space to share experiences and connect with others who are going through a similar journey.

Overall, pregnancy yoga is a wonderful way to support the health and well-being of both mother and baby during this transformative time. If you're expecting, consider joining Laragh a qualified Doula and Pregnancy yoga specialist for 18 years and exploring the many benefits of this practice for yourself.

We are so sad to hear the news of Maev Creaven's passing. We can't remember ever meeting Maev with receiving energy, warmth and feeling better having even had a few minutes in her company.
Maev was a true Yogini, an incredible practitioner, a talented and nurturing teacher loved by her students and friends in vinyasa, pregnancy yoga and then to nutrition where she was groundbreaking, introducing knowledge, testing and care to Ireland from her extensive international study. And we got to have her in Galway, where she nourished us all with her talent and her smile.
Guruji is a term used out of respect for those who shed light where there was none before revealing knowledge. Maev shone light, was light and is a light that will continue to enrich us with her spirit.
Our love is with you Maev and your family, our dear friend Dorothy Creaven who is another beautiful soul.
Namaste and love ♥️
