A mash-up of photos twenty years
apart…the first Galway 5KM Series
leg versus the 20th anniversary jog,
twenty years and one month apart – 9
May 2006 and 9 June 2026!
Martin Keane took most of the images
in 2006 while John O’Connor took
most of the 2026 images – James
Lundon took the rest on both
occasions.
Here’s to the next twenty years!

Kudos to all below who have been there since the first race on 09/05/06 & still going strong 👏👏

Martin Keane 95 legs
Gary Doherty 105 legs
Adrian Fitzmaurice 110 legs
Tony O'Callaghan 111 legs
Tony Nevin 98 legs
Peadar Nugent 99 legs
James Lundon 108 legs

All out of a possible 111 legs!
