Fiona began her rowing journey in 2009 at Galway Rowing Club, following in the footsteps of her twin brother, Alan, and later earned a rowing scholarship to Fordham University.
Some key highlights of Fiona’s career:
🥉 Bronze in the Four at the 2020 European Rowing Championships
🥈 Silver at the same event the following year
🏅 In 2023, Fiona and Aifric Keogh finished 4th at the World Rowing Championships, securing Olympic qualification
Fiona became a two-time Olympian at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where she and Aifric Keogh finished 8th in the Women’s Pair event.
As Fiona prepares for the 2025 European Rowing Championships, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and wish her the best of luck. Her dedication, both as an athlete and an academic, continues to inspire us all.
