A throwback to 36 years ago today from the RTÉ Archives, as legendary Mayo GAA player Liam McHale & Deora Marsh featured on 'Jo-Maxi' speaking about the growth of Basketball in Ballina and nationally.

Ballina became one of Ireland's biggest basketball clubs in Ireland during the 90's.

We joined Niall Rochford on the 2nd last leg of his CorhtoCong walk in aid of Pancreatic Cancer Ireland and presented him with a cheque for €7034.00 raised at the Galway Masters Basketball tournament last weekend.
