After cycling through Connemara last year, John and his team structured a 8-day cycling tour through the Burren/County Clare for me.

As expected, West Ireland Cycling provided excellent service:

- selected route was very versatile, taking me through very different and always breathtaking landscapes and into small, charming towns

- bike was well maintained and a pleasure to ride

- daily luggage transfer was seamless

- stays (B&B and smaller Hotels) were well selected, often with hosts going out of their way to make my stay pleasant (e.g. last host drove me to the train station, so I would not have to get a cab)

- John checked in during days of challenging weather to see if he could to anything to “ease the pain”

All in all: already in the mood to on take the next route through wonderful west Ireland.

Highly recommend the services of West Ireland Cycling if you consider exploring this very special piece of earth by bike."

Today we want to take a moment to recognise and thank Matt, who is sadly leaving the West Ireland Cycling team after many years of hard work, loyalty, and dedication.

Matt has been a hugely important part of our business, always reliable, hard working, and committed to doing things properly. His care for our bikes, our guests, and the standards of West Ireland Cycling never went unnoticed. He will be greatly missed not only by the whole team, but by many of our customers who have benefitted from his work behind the scenes over the years.

While we’re sad to see him go, we’re delighted for him as he takes on a new opportunity and the next chapter of his journey. We wish him every success and happiness in his new start.
