MEET THE TEACHER ✨ CHLOE ✨

We got to catch up with our lovely Chloe, who teaches at Dance Concepts Glennamaddy, to find out a little more about her dance journey, her love for teaching and what she enjoys most about being part of Dance Concepts!

💗 How did your dance journey begin?

“I started ballet when I was just 3 years old! I remember wanting to dance with my sister, so we both started at the same time.”

What inspired you to become a dance teacher?

“After taking a few years away from dancing, I wanted to get back into it, so I became a teaching assistant. That made me fall in love with dance all over again and inspired me to become a teacher!”

🩰 What’s your favourite thing about teaching dance?

“Seeing students who have never danced before come into class, learn and improve so much! It shows that you don’t have to be born a dancer to become a great one.”

🌟 What’s your favourite dance memory?

“Performing at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre with my old dance school for our end-of-year show. I remember it feeling so magical!”

💕 What do you love most about being part of Dance Concepts?

“I love that Dance Concepts is a non-competitive dance school. It takes the pressure away from students and allows them to focus on having fun, learning and enjoying dance!”

💜 What do you hope your students take away from your classes?

“I hope they learn something new in every class and that dancing helps them build their confidence!”

💅 And a little fun fact about Chloe…

Chloe is also a beautician! When she’s not in the dance studio, she loves doing nails and all things beauty.

We’re so lucky to have Chloe as part of our Dance Concepts family! 🥰✨

It might look like just another dance class… but look a little closer 🥹

It’s the little hand that goes up when they’re brave enough to try.

The new friendship that starts with a smile.

The proud little face when they finally master something they’ve been practising.

The moment they walk into class all by themselves for the very first time 🥹

To us, these aren’t little things. They’re BIG things ✨

Because at Dance Concepts, we’re not just teaching children how to dance. We’re helping them grow in confidence, find their people, express themselves and discover just how much they’re capable of 💕

And that’s what makes every single class so special🩰

We love a behind-the-scenes moment 👀

Here’s a little look at what growth can look like in our acro classes. From beginners learning the foundations right through to our senior dancers developing more advanced skills and combinations.

Just one hour a week, under the watchful eye of our teachers.

Every dancer starts somewhere and we love having a community where they can learn, progress and be proud of how far they’ve come.

Our Ballyhaunis crew are doing us so proud this month! 🩰✨

Many already showing up in uniform and trying their very best. For some of these little dancers, this is their very first month ever taking a dance class and look at them go! 💕

They show up happy to get into class, excited to join in, ready to learn and most importantly have FUN.

Just one hour a week, and already they’re showing us how it’s done! 🌟

We have classes across Mayo, Galway, Clare & Cork, with lots of little dancers learning, growing in confidence, making friends and discovering the joy of dance.
