A little change to how we’re kicking off May... 👇🏻
We’re starting with the Fresh Sunday 10k on May 10 instead of the usual book chat + 5k, mostly because I want to give everyone a bit more breathing room to actually enjoy "The Keeper" and not feel like you’re speed-reading it the night before. 📖😅
Then on May 31, we’ll meet for the book chat + 5k in Renville and properly get into it together. ☕️
See you on the 10th! 💛

Usually our book chat Read & Run meetups happen on the first Sunday of the month… but in April I’ll let you open your Easter eggs in peace. 🐣
So instead, we’re meeting on April 12 at 10am in Renville Park, starting at Seahorse Café.
This month we’re reading "The Lying Life of Adults" by Elena Ferrante.
Whether you’re finishing the book, have already started it, or just want to come along for the run and the company, you’re very welcome. 💛
Feel free to tag someone who should join us 📚🏃♀️

Some of our runners braved the rain at Ballyloughane on Sunday 🌧️🏃♀️
Before the run we chatted about "Whale Fall", which got a very positive response overall. Plenty of thoughts and reactions that carried into the run.
With spring hopefully around the corner, it feels like a good time to get back outside and into a routine. If you have been thinking about joining us, this might be your moment. New runners and readers are always welcome! 💛☕
We'll see you at the next Fresh Sunday Series 10k on Sunday 29 at 10 am!

Life can feel like a constant push to keep up, with work, expectations, and everything else going on quietly in the background, and sometimes even the things we enjoy start to feel like another box to tick.
Read & Run is meant to be the EASY! ✨
Here, you can read the book if you want, or dip in and out, or not finish it at all, and there won’t be any philosophical or university-level book discussions, just a relaxed chat about the book and whatever else comes up.
You can come for an easy run, you can walk or jog, or you can just show up for the company, and if some weeks you only feel like coming for the run or only for the book, that’s more than enough. ♥️
Save this if you’re craving something that feels lighter, and if and when you’re ready, you’re always welcome.

Proof that the best plans start with coffee ☕📚🏃🏻♀️
A spring throwback to chats and coffee at , followed by an easy run along the river through the college. Simple, social, and exactly what Read & Run mornings are about.
Manifesting lighter evenings and sunnier meetups 🌿
Reminder:
📌 Fresh Sunday 10k this Sunday at 10am (starting from in Raven Terrace)
📌 Book meetup + 5k east run on February 8 at 10am at .ireland

January & February, we’re easing into 2026 together ☕📖🏃🏻
A Read & Run birthday coffee to kick things off, Fresh Sunday 10ks at an easy, chatty pace, and a book chat paired with a gentle 5k. No pressure, no expectations, just chances to move a bit, chat a bit, and dip in whenever it suits. 💪🏻
Come to one. Come to all. Decide on the day.
Save this, share it with someone who might fancy it, and drop a 💛 if you’re planning to join us.

Little throwback Wednesday. 💛
This was our first charity run back in June 2024.
We raised roughly €1,600 for , which still feels pretty special.
A simple run, good chats, and people showing up for something bigger than themselves. ✨💪🏻
I’ve got ideas brewing for more events and themed runs once summer rolls around again in a couple of months. ⬇️
If there’s something you’d like to see, let me know in the comments. I’ll see you next week for our second Read & Run anniversary coffee! ☕️

A small reminder of what Read & Run is (and isn’t). ⬇️
It’s not a run club where pace matters.
It’s not a book club with homework.
It’s not about showing up every week.
It is about moving a bit when you can.
It is about chatting to people who feel similar.
It is about having something to drop into when you need it. 💪🏻
Just come as you are and have a few chats! ✨

Read & Run turns 2 on January 20 💛
Thank you you for being part of this little community.
To celebrate, I’m keeping it very easy and adding an extra January meet-up:
☕ After work coffee
📅 Tuesday 20 January
🕠 5:30pm
📍
No run. No pressure. No expectations.
Just good chats, a cosy coffee, and a chance to get to know us. This one is especially for anyone who has been nervous about coming along solo to the usual book chat or run.
If you have been thinking “I must join sometime”, this is that sometime. Come as you are, bring a friend, or swing by for 10 minutes.
See you there 💛

A mighty group of 9 out this morning for a lovely (almost) 5k walk in a chilly but beautifully clear Salthill ❄️🌊
Fresh air, good chats, steady miles… and yes, I somehow forgot to take a photo 🤷🏻♀️
Exactly what these mornings are about. A chance to reset, move the body, catch up properly, and start the year feeling good.
If you’ve been meaning to join us, this is your sign.
Next up 👉🏻 Fresh Sunday Series 10k on January 25
More news and meet-ups coming very soon, so keep an eye on the page 💛
See you soon! 🫶🏻
