🏆 Congratulations to Grace Connaughton who won the 11 & U one wall competition in Claregalway Handball Club yesterday 🏆.

⭐️ Grace topped her group to secure her place in the semi final and battling on to win the final against Fenagh Handball Abbie Kane. Well done Grace 👏

✨In the 13 & under competition both Emily Connaughton & Caitlin Smyth topped their group and secured their spot in the Semi Finals. Emily tied her semi final game which was a fantastic match and missed her place in the final by the narrowest of margins in a tiebreaker. Caitlin faced the overall competition winner and altho tying scores earlier in the game she ran out of steam and finished her semi final 20-12.

✨Also out yesterday was Aoibhe & Caitlin Pedraza in the 13 & U Girls and Cian Smyth in the 13 & U Boys who all gained valuable experience.

Everyone played some really lovely handball and enjoyed games against new competitors. All of our competitors will be in this age grade next year so the future is looking very promising💫

🤝 A massive thank you to Joe, Julianne and all of the volunteers from Claregalway Handball club and beyond including our own Colette & Declan who assisted with lines and reffing. ✨

🤝 A big shout out and thanks to David Burke & Sons Electrical who very kindly sponsored our Juvenile Boys & Girls gear bags for their trip to Cork Feile competing in the four wall earlier this year 👍.

🏆 A very memorable day today for Emily Connaughton who came out on top of the U13 Plate competition today in Kilglass Gaels for the Battle by the Shannon.

⭐️ Emily was a much deserving winner today having faced tough competition along the way to claiming the trophy.

💪 Commanding her games with strong serving and calculating her returns proved to be the winning combination all while keeping her composure along the way.

👏 Well done to all our juveniles who took part today, we come home having gained invaluable competition experience in the one wall that we will take with us to the next challenge.
