Finally got a close up of Houdini.
I’m still wondering if he is a stray or a neighbours cat. I can’t take him on but if a stray could try and find him a home. Very affectionate

Houdini here stayed the night again even though cat flap locked. Left at 7 this morning. Small scratch on nose. If this keeps happening I will have to report to a rescue.

There is a black cat in the Granary estate who breaks into my house every day and some nights through cat flap! The inn is full at the moment so please spread this to any cats you might bump into.
Very annoying.

Should of been there years ago , fair play to all the residents

Hello all. Rehomed what looked like a malnourished kitten in the estate ( after 3 weeks of her screeching at back door) last week to be told same night that it was in fact a young cat who prob had kittens somewhere in the estate. Does anyone own her? After her b and b in Spiddal, she back! Anyone know anything? If not gonna try and get her rehomed again.
Don’t know if she has kittens or not. At my back door every eve all week.
Feeding her but do not want a second cat. Any leads welcome.

Light up for Christmas: A couple of people are arranging to light up the trees in the green at entrance to estate for the Christmas. If anyone is interested in contributing please send a message or comment here.

⚠️ A boil water notice has been issued for the Mid Galway Public Water Supply Scheme with immediate effect.
The scheme covers a large area of the county from Abbeyknockmoy to Ballydavid to Brackloon, including Monivea and Colemanstown.
Persistent heavy rainfall over the past number of days has caused a deterioration in the raw water source. As a result the plant is currently unable to produce fully compliant water.

Water must be boiled for:
- Drinking
- Drinks made with water
- Preparation of salads and similar foods, which are not cooked prior to eating
- Brushing of teeth
- Making of ice
- Discard ice cubes in fridges and freezers and filtered water in fridges. Make ice from cooled boiled water.
