A fantastic start to the season yesterday with a 0:0 result for our seconds against Greenfields

Our girls played their hearts out and were unfortunate to not score after a few close chances in the circle.

It was a historic day for the club with our first cohort of junior players making their senior debut. Congratulations Niamh Heskin, Abby Lohan, Rachel McDonald, Molly Mahon and Katie O Shaughnessy!

Our junior club restarted in 2021 and we couldn’t be prouder to see our first generation of juniors feeding in to our senior team just 5 years later. An amazing milestone to achieve as a club. The girls played amazing and we couldn’t be more proud 💜

We had 3 sets of mothers and daughters in Dangan yesterday - with a special congratulations to Gemma and Abby Lohan on their mother daughter debut! A huge congrats too to Rachel McDonald joining her mom Olivia on the pitch🥳

Overall a fantastic day for the club - well done girls! 🤩

Wishing our Junior Cert and Leaving Cert Students the very best of luck in their exams. We know you will all fly through it all and will enjoy the Summer ahead. The club brought the girls together to wish them well a few weeks ago. A very special group of young women and we are always so proud of them 💜

Our juniors wrapped up their training for the season last weekend with a sun drenched session in Dangan. It has been a brilliant year for our little purple stars taking part in lots of blitzes with nearby clubs as well as our 6th class team who had a fantastic run in their league and qualified for the league final. While they were unlucky on the day the club are so proud of them and how well they competed. Many of this group are only in 5th class and will have another year of this league next year. The club wishes to thank all of our club coaches, particularly Niamh, Ruth, Fiona, Theresa, Edel, Becca, John and Olivia for all their work with all our smallest members and our teens for helping out at sessions and blitzes. We are looking forward to next season already! 💜🏑💜
