Cong-Galway 2026 - Saturday 29 August, 2026 — Galway Bay Sailing Club The Cong-Galway sailing race was established by Corrib Rowing and Yachting Club (CRYC) in 1882. Today, the race remains the longest inland water sailing race in Europe. The Organising Authority is Galway City Sailing Club.

Cong - Galway Sailing Race postponed until August due to strong winds.

Unfortunately we have to postpone this due to unsuitable weather conditions for the lake on Saturday.

We’ll look forward to it again in August. Stay tuned for more.
