Penalty drama, interleague call-ups, and a double-header Sunday to remember 🩵⚪

The U15Bs needed penalties to get through the league cup, the GU15s won twice in one day, including an extra-time thriller under the light, and seven of our U16 girls helped Galway beat Clare 8-0 at interleague level.

Yesterday was a proud day for our Player Pathway.
Two big wins for our Adult men's team with juvenile players included.

Ben Nolan, captain of Under 17, made his first start for the Junior Premier Team.

Oisin McCartan, captain of Under 18, also started for the Junior Premier Team as they won away to Renmore.

Ben & Oisin train with their age group and junior teams every week putting in the hours and they're paying off.

Sam Begley, under 18 and FAI National League goalkeeper was called up to the National League team and had the full trust of his coaches and team mates when injuries ruled out the other two goalkeepers in the squad. Sam has started the past few fixtures and made the spot his own.

Jamal Sow, Under 18 and FAI National League has been an ever present in the National League team starting the first 3 fixtures at just 16 years of age.

Sam & Jamal are a big part of the newly formed National League squad and can only improve further being surrounded by the squad.

Keep it up lads 💪 It's a great motivation for those younger players who will follow in your footsteps ⚽
