The start of a new season for the U14B girls playing at home Sunday against our neighbours Craughwell United. Two well matched teams competed from the start with Colga finishing a flowing move to go in 1-0 up at half time. In the 2nd half Colga defended strongly getting a 2nd goal on the break. Both teams gave it their all, an entertaining game from start to finish. Well done to both squads.

A great start to the season for the U14 Premier Girls with a solid performance across the whole squad. Cathy Sheridan notching 2 first half goals to take the lead into the break but the visitors came out strongly in the 2nd half and halved the deficit with an excellent finish. Freya Cahill restored the 2 goal lead converting a penalty that she had earned herself drawing a foul as she bore down on goal. Chances at both ends in the last 15 but great defending by both sides kept the scoreline to 3-1.
