🏆 U17 Championship Cup

Bohs came out as comfortable winners in today’s tie at Millers Lane against Oughterard.

It took 14 minutes for Bohs to open the scoring, with former Oughterard player Henry O’Toole getting his head to a Bohs set piece.

Within 10 minutes, Bohs found themselves 2-0 up after Ryan Cubbard put the ball past the Oughterard goalkeeper.

Oisin Curran, Ryan Faherty, Sam Fegan, Denzel Sibanda and Pushan Jhurry all added second-half goals to see Bohs book a semi-final spot.

It was an all-round good team performance from the Bohs lads, with goalkeeper Joe Keville keeping a clean sheet for the second game in succession.

Next up is a home tie in the Connacht Cup against Premier Division side Athenry FC, which will be played next Sunday at 11am at Millers Lane. 🔴⚪

JR DIVISION 1

Bohemians 1–3 Mervue B

⚽ Goal: Jhonathan D’Arco

Unlucky to our men’s team, who conceded two late goals in a game where they deserved more.

Goalkeeper Eoghan McHale produced two fantastic one-on-one saves to keep the scores level before Bohs grew into the game and took the lead. Jhonathan D’Arco headed home from an Ollie Sheppard corner to put the home side in front, but Mervue equalised before half-time.

Mervue enjoyed more possession after the break but struggled to break down a determined Bohs rearguard. It remained an even contest for much of the game, with Bohs battling well throughout. However, tired legs began to show late on, and two deflected goals proved costly as Mervue took all three points.

A disappointing finish for Bohs after a strong effort, but credit to Mervue on the win.

Squad: McHale, Geraghty ©️, O’Sullivan, Rabbitte, Guinan, Gavin, Sheppard, Feeney, Molloy, D’Arco, Nevin, McDonagh, Yorke, Browne.

U13 DIV 3 CUP QF

Bohemians book semi-final spot with big win over Tuam Celtic B

Bohs recovered from an early setback to secure a place in the semi-finals with an impressive win over Tuam Celtic B at Millers Lane this morning.

It was a fantastic squad effort, with James Kelly’s superb solo run and finish over the keeper and Jake Greaney’s outstanding free-kick the pick of the goals. Tuam threatened on the counter-attack at times, but home keeper Adam Thornton was quick off his line throughout to deal with the danger on the few occasions the back line was breached .

Well done to all the players involved in a great team performance. Bohs will now face Athenry in the semi-finals, with the date and time to be confirmed.

⚽ Goalscorers Thornton, Greaney, Keane, Kelly, McInerney, Burke.

Squad: Thornton, O’Connor, Holleran, Feeney, Keane, Greaney©️ , Burke, Thornton, McInerney, Gallagher, Kelly, Campbell, Cubbard, Stapelton, Smyth, Holland.
