Is the Sauna important ???
Yes.
If you believe all the science, we should all be using the sauna.
We boast the most private sauna in the city (just request it if you need) also the most affordable option to add this to your routine.

❤️ Meet my sister, Alceina ❤️
This morning I was delighted to welcome my sister Alciena into the gym for some photos as we begin sharing a little more about why our upcoming fundraiser for the Irish Kidney Association means so much to me personally.
Alcina isn’t just my big sister — she’s been one of the biggest influences in my life. Growing up, alongside my parents and siblings, she helped shape the person I am today. As a dad to girls now, I often think about how much my sisters influenced the way I treat and respect women and people in general. I genuinely owe a lot of my character to them.
We’re a very close family, and I’m proud to be godfather to her daughter, Rhianna. When Alciena became ill, it was incredibly difficult watching someone you love go through something you can’t fix. Like any family member, I felt helpless at times. When the opportunity came to donate my kidney, there wasn’t a second thought — I just wanted to help. For various reasons it didn’t work out, but thankfully everything worked out for the best, and today Alcina has received her double transplant and is an absolute inspiration in how she has come through it all.
Having her in TrainStationGalway today made this fundraiser feel even more real. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be sharing more photos and stories as we build awareness and support for our event on Saturday, March 14th, raising funds for the Irish Kidney Association.
👉 We’ll also be running a raffle on the day, so if you’re a local business and would like to donate a prize or service, we would be hugely grateful for your support. Please send us a message if you’d like to get involved.
Thank you to everyone already supporting — it truly means a lot ❤️

Over the years, our gym has always been about more than just training — it’s about community.
This one is personal.
In 2024, my sister Alceina was given a second chance at life after receiving a kidney and pancreas transplant. Throughout that journey, the Irish Kidney Association provided incredible support to her and our family during some very difficult times.
So on Saturday March 14th, we’re opening the doors at Train Station Gym Galway for a Fitness Fun Day Fundraiser to give something back.
This isn’t just a fitness event — it’s a community day.
💪 A masterclass workout
🚴 A cycle challenge where every kilometre counts
☕ Coffee, chats & refreshments
🎟️ Raffles & prizes throughout the day
❤️ Real stories from people who have lived this journey
You don’t need to be a member.
You don’t need to be super fit.
Just call in, take part, support, or even stay for a coffee.
