Having previously researched, presented, manufactured and displayed replica archaeological material for the Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Early Medieval periods in and around Oughterard, Bill Daly, Local Archaeologist, with the Oughterard Culture and Heritage Group, will kick off Heritage Week 2024 in Oughterard and offer fascinating insights into the island of Ireland before the arrival of mankind.
