What a game from start to finish — absolutely brilliant to watch! ⚽️💚

A fantastic start saw **Tarlagh McGee** get us off to a dream beginning with an early goal. Mulroy came straight back with an equaliser, and from there both teams battled incredibly hard. It was a tense first half with chances and shots from both sides.

Then, towards the end of the first half, came a **huge moment in the game** — an absolutely amazing save from **Daire Roarty** kept us in it. That save proved to be a real turning point. The lads went into the second half with **determination, belief and a real hunger to win**. 💪

The second half brought even more excitement. Mulroy started strongly with plenty of chances, but the **Gweedore Celtic defence held firm**. Then came a fantastic goal from **Adam McBride**, putting the Gweedore lads back on top! 🔥

Mulroy battled hard, but our boys kept fighting with incredible belief. **Adam McBride** stepped up and calmly converted a penalty to make it 3–1, before a brilliant run from **Jamie McGee** secured the fourth and sealed the win! ⚽️🏆

Huge credit to **Mulroy**, who were fantastic opponents and have had a brilliant year themselves. Both teams played with great passion, determination and sportsmanship, making it a fantastic game to watch. 👏

Ansin, ar an Máirt (18ú), chuir siad fáilte roimh Ghaoth Dobhair Aontaithe go dtí’n Phobalscoil.
Ní raibh mórán idir an dá fhoireann ag tús an chluiche ach scóráil Adam Mac Giolla Bhríde cic saor leis Na Ceiltigh a chur chun tosaigh. Níorbh fhada ina dhiaidh sin gur scóráil Adam an dara ceann, nuair a chur Eoghan Ó Domhnaill pas cruinn chuige. Chríochnaigh Na Ceiltigh an leath níos láidre agus fuair Eoghan an tríú cúl. 3-0 Na Ceiltigh ag leathama.

Fuair Adam a tríú cúl tar éis imir foirne iontach. Scóráil Tarlagh Mac Aoidh an cúigiú cúl nuair a chríochnaigh sé go maith.

Throid Gaoth Dobhair Aontaithe go crua agus fuair siad dhá chúl gasta. Scóráil Brian MacPháidin cic éirice agus fuair Brian an dara chúl go gasta ina dhiaidh sin. Shocraigh Na Ceiltigh arís agus scóráil Adam arís, a cheathrú sa chluiche.

A very good week for our Youths started last Thursday 13th August when beating a hard-working Kilmacrennan team away from home 3-1 with Charlie Ó Gallchóir scoring twice and Adam Mac Giolla Bhríde getting the 3rd.

Na Ceiltigh then welcomed neighbours Gaoth Dobhair Aontaithe to the Pobalscoil on Tuesday 18th.

Na Ceiltigh got into the lead thanks to a 30 yard free kick from Adam Mac Giolla Bhríde. Not long after, Adam got his 2nd when he ran on to a pin point pass from Eoghan O’Domhnaill. Na Ceiltigh finished the half strong when Eoghan got on the end of a cross to make it 3-0 at half time.

Adam got his hat trick after a brilliant team move. 8 players were involved in the build up which ended in Adam thumping the back of the net via the crossbar.
Not long after, Tarlagh MacAoidh got on the end of a ball which he fired home to make it 5-0.
Gaoth Dobhair Aontaithe fought hard throughout and got 1 back through a Brian McFadden penalty. Brian then got his 2nd shortly after to make it 5-2. Na Ceiltigh settled themselves again when Adam got his 4th and Na Ceiltigh’s 6th just before the whistle. A derby played in good spirits with both teams battling hard throughout.

A brilliant hard-working team performance from everyone with Adam Mac Giolla Bhríde the standout with 4 goals.
