Two busy weeks put down at MDG Fitness.
Weeks 5 & 6 of operation have been hectic — in the best way possible.
We’ve welcomed some very well-known and respected names through the doors, calling into MDG Fitness and Glenamaddy GAA grounds to take a tour of the full redevelopment.
The feedback?
More than impressed with our brand new facility, the vision and the standards being built here.
Who are they?
Michael Kenny – 2× All-Ireland winner, 1987 All-Star
Pádraig Kelly – 1993 All-Ireland Final Man of the Match, 1993 All-Star
Enda Smith – 3× Connacht Champion
Tony Hanahoe – 3× All-Ireland winner, 2× All-Ireland captain, 1977 All-Star
Generations of GAA pedigree under one roof.
On the gym floor, classes have been running in full flow — hard training, great energy, people pushing themselves and enjoying the environment we’re building.
Class numbers continue to grow, momentum is building week by week, and our doors remain open to new faces!
Thanks to for running the Nursery GAA Coaching Course, preparing new coaches for the season ahead.
The Glenamaddy GAA/LGFA players and coach development committee launched there introduction night - sharing their aims and objectives for the future and outlining pathways for existing club members involved in coaching and members of the public who want to get involved in coaching - sharing information on upcoming opportunities to upskill, develop their coaching skillset to help strengthen the future of the adult and underage club set ups in Glenamaddy and the surrounding areas.
Building coaches. Building infrastructure. Building community.
That’s what this is about.
Sport. Development. Community.
Hoping everyone has a healthy and happy week. We hope to see you across the week.
