What a season it has been so far for our u10 girls 🙌🏻 we were delighted to welcome back lots of familiar faces this year and we were excited to have some new faces join our club 🫶🏻
Our girls trained in all types of weather every week and also participated in Longford LGFA u10 blitz’s on Saturday mornings which showed great improvement from week to week .
We also took part in the North Leinster u10 blitz in St Lomans Mullingar in August and what fun we had whilst playing some amazing football against clubs from other counties 👏🏻
The Highlight of the season for our girls was attending the All Ireland LGFA finals in Croke park. Our girls and coaches soaked in the atmosphere and witnessed some exciting football.
Our players have become great friends as well as great team mates and it really shows in their development and how they all work together and encourage each other 💙⚽️
Brian, Elaine, Niall and Donna are so proud to be coaching our u10 and u12 girls teams and are committed to continue the development of our younger players.
Finaly a BIG THANK YOU to all our families and friends who continue to support our girls from week to week. Training is not over just yet so let’s keep it going ⚽️

💙🤍 Well, tonight just wasn’t our night. 🤍💙
The girls played fantastic from start to finish, giving everything they had for the blue and white jersey, but unfortunately Seán Connolly’s proved too strong on the night.
Congratulations to Seán Connolly’s and their management team. We wish you all the very best in the final. 👏
But what can we say about this incredible bunch of girls? ❤️
This was St Mary’s senior team’s first season in over 30 years, and from that very first game right through to tonight’s semi-final, these girls have given absolutely everything — blood, sweat and tears for the blue and white jersey. 💙🤍
They have grown stronger as a team with every game, created some fantastic memories along the way, and, most importantly, they have given all the younger girls coming through something to look forward to and dream about.
There is no doubt whatsoever that this team will win a championship in the future. Their journey has only just begun. 💙🤍
A huge congratulations and thank you to our management team for putting this amazing group of girls together and, more importantly, for turning them into a team that everyone at St Mary’s can be incredibly proud of.
Tonight may be the end of this championship journey, but it is only the beginning for this group.
Heads held high, girls. You have done your club proud. 💙🤍
