Welcome to Greystones Harbour Marina, the new safe haven on Ireland’s east coast only 12nm south of Dublin Bay.
Ideal location for local and all Ireland cruising. Our marina has opened initially with 100 berths on the 1st April 2013, growing to 230 berths that provide excellent and safe berthing for boats from 6m up to 30m. Nautical directions - 53º 09’ 10” N, 006º 03’ 85” W

Round Ireland Yacht Race, 2 days to go, fleet building, boats lifting at Greystones Marine Services, smiles and well wishing on the pontoons, we absolutely love it!
And also lots of berth holders and visitors here too, along with some BJ Marine boat sales handovers taking place, it really is a special week

Excitement building here ahead of Saturday’s start of the Round Ireland Yacht Race from Wicklow. We’ve some of the Class 40 fleet on site already, and more of the fleet due in before the start. Greystones Marine Services, with the brand new marine hoist, have been looking after those that need a last minute sling wash or some under water attention.
It’s a busy but brilliant week for sailing in Ireland and we take great pride in playing our small part

The marina is buzzing today! Owners down checking their boats, people meeting for coffee, the oysters doing some media duty with the Green Ocean Foundation, boats out, some fishing and some just going for a quick spin, and the sky is blue!

We are delighted to have the Green Ocean Foundation on site at the marina. Despite appalling weather on Friday, there was a huge turn out for the launch of the project. The oysters have had an excellent start to their time in the marina since November and we hope it continues in such a positive trajectory.

We are delighted to have the Green Ocean Foundation on site with us at Greystones Harbour Marina. To have such a positive start to the project has proven to be a massive energizer to all involved!

We have some good news for any of you with Monday blues. Last month we helped our climate superheroes settle into their new home in Greystones Harbour Marina and this weekend it was time to check up on them and see how they were doing for the first time.
As we all know, moving homes can be a big ordeal and it is no different for our oysters. This can be the stage when we may notice the most fatalities. However, our mighty Irish oysters are clearly LOVING their new home as all have survived! They've already even made a few friends - little baby eels! How social the little ones are!
Not only is this the first Wicklow project, it is also the first site where all oysters have survived after their deployment.
A big thank you to Codling Wind Park for their support, the welcoming team at Greystones Harbour Marina and of course to all the enthusiastic support so far from the Greystones community.
We will be checking up on them in the new year and keep an eye out for updates on details of our launch day in February for anyone in Greystones. We wouldn't want to be 'shellfish' and keep these environmental warriors and sea cleaners to ourselves. It'll be an opportunity to meet your new neighbours. More details to come.

Fun in the December sun on the pontoons today. Plenty of owners out checking their boats, running engines and enjoying a coffee while they do so. Fantastic to see so much activity at this time of year.
