What an incredible weekend for our ladies taking part in the Annaghdown Fund Raising 2-day cycle event in aid of the Galway Hospice! 🌼

Day 1 Annaghdown to Westport - tested our grit with strong, blustery winds that made every mile a challenge – but our determination never wavered and our spirits stayed high, and every pedal stroke was powered by the thought of the incredible work done by the hospice charity we’re supporting. 💪💨

90km down and a well-earned check-in at our hotel 🏨, we enjoyed some much-needed beverages 🍷☕, a hearty evening meal 🍽️, and plenty of laughter followed by a good night’s rest 💤 before the final push home.

Day 2 Westport to Annaghdown - greeted us with brighter skies and calmer roads for the 90km return journey 🌤️, making the ride home a joy. Spirits were still high, legs were strong, and hearts were full knowing we were riding for such an important cause.

So proud of this incredible team for their strength, spirit, and dedication to such a worthy cause. 💖

Here’s to friendship, fundraising, and the freedom of the open road! 🚴‍♀️✨

Monday’s Spin 🚴🏻‍♀️ 55km

A great ride this morning with perfect weather, starting at Claran and crossing over the N84 for a quick water stop at Caltragh, then having the chats with the work men whilst waiting to rejoin the N84 for a short ride before turning off at Shanbally and cycling through Annaghdown, crossing back over the N84 again and arriving at Peggy's Bar in Aucloggeen for our coffee stop which included a single sausage 🤣🤣.
Made our way back along Cahermorris, Manusflynn, Bohercuill, Crossursa finishing in Headford 🚴🏻‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴🏻‍♀️🚴‍♀️ Just perfect 👌

The ‘Weekend Wanderers’ out and about early this Saturday morning, enjoying the freedom of the open countryside. With no planned route and nowhere in particular to be, just following the country lanes wherever they led, stopping whenever fancied taking in the views, chatting along the way and enjoying a well earned coffee break. Sometimes the best adventures are the ones that aren’t planned.

Congratulations to our amazing ladies, Amanda, Sandy and Maire who completed Tuesday's cycle event. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Looking glamorous in their event t-shirts as they cycled the 32km route from Roundstone to Ballyconneely and back along the famous Bog Road, taking in some of Connemara's striking scenery. They ended their day with a well earned tasty meal from 🚴🥇👏🏻
