There is deep sadness throughout our community today on hearing of the sad passing of Gerry Ryan. Gerry was a great supporter of the handball club over the years and played as a juvenile along with his brother's. The absolute epitome of a gentleman , the news of his sad death at such a young age has rocked the whole community. He will be greatly missed. Sincere sympathy to Helen , Thomas and Ciara, Mamie and Jack and all the extended family. May he rest in peace.

Well done to Cathal Murnane who played excellently at the Community Games in Longford at the weekend, where he eventually lost out by the minimum, 16-15, following a great first round victory. Cathal is improving every tournament he plays and is flying the club flag with class . Well done Cathal
