🏆⛳️ BACK-TO-BACK JUNIOR LEAGUE CHAMPIONS ! ⛳️🏆

A fantastic achievement for our Junior Boys who have won the 2026 Kerry Golf Federation Junior League, successfully defending the title they won last year! 💚

Every member of our junior team played their part throughout the league, producing some brilliant golf and, most importantly, representing Waterville Golf Club so well both on and off the course.

It has been an incredibly busy week for our junior golfers, and to finish it as Junior League Champions makes this achievement all the more special.

A huge thank you to the wonderful support structure around these players — their parents, team / club management, our Junior Committee, club pros Waterville Golf Links Pro Shop and everyone at the club who continues to encourage and support them. Thanks also to Captains Larry & Alma for their continued support and Junior Captains 2026 Cathal O’Sullivan & Grace Murphy ✨👏🏼.

Our thanks to the Federation of County Kerry Golf Clubs for organising the Junior League and providing such a great opportunity for junior golfers throughout the county.

A special thank you also to Killarney Golf Club for the wonderful reception and a fantastic finale to this year’s Junior League season. It was a lovely way to bring the competition to a close. 👏⛳️

We are incredibly proud of this group — their commitment, teamwork and support for one another has been fantastic to see.

Some members of our junior team were unable to be there for the presentation photos due to other commitments later in the evening, but every one of them played their part in this fantastic team achievement. 💚

Our Junior Girls also finished their Junior League season this week in Ballybunion, and we are equally proud of their commitment and the way they represented Waterville throughout the competition. A big thank you to Ballybunion Golf Club for hosting and looking after everyone so well. 💚⛳️

It wasn’t to be for our U18 boys today at the Interclub All-Ireland Finals, but they can hold their heads very high. 💙⛳️

Reaching the All-Ireland stage is a fantastic achievement and the lads have represented Waterville Golf Club brilliantly throughout the year, with great golf, commitment and team spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone for the wonderful support, messages and well wishes in the lead-up to this week — it meant a lot to the boys and everyone involved. 💙

Congratulations to our junior boys who won the West Munster u18 inter-club qualifier in Kenmare yesterday and now progress to the area final in Limerick GC.⛳️🏌‍♂️🏌‍♀️

Congratulations to Junior member Aoibhínn Devereux for achieving a hole in one on the 4th hole “Dunes” in Waterville Links today during the captains prize to ladies.⛳️👏🏼
