Just one more sleep until our young Monster Truck drivers fire up their engines for the Rásaí Races Grand Finale Championship Night 2026! 🛻💨

An incredible season of racing comes down to one final night of action, speed, and championship glory!

🏁 What to Expect on the Night

Ballaghdoo River Speedway returns with a brilliant track layout designed and created by our very own young track designer Caolan.
His passion for RC racing shows in every twist, turn and jump on the circuit!
A huge thank you to Caolan and his pit-crew for their hard work throughout the league series.

🔥 The Race-Offs – Battle for the Final 8!
First on the grid tomorrow night are the Race-Offs, where teams battle for the final spots in Formula One and Formula Two.
Each race is 2 pedal-to-the-metal laps for a shot at F1 glory!
Truck choice will be decided by a coin flip. 🪙

🏁 Rásaí Races Update
– Race Night 7 | DOUBLE POINTS NIGHT! 🏁

Big News for Our RC Racers! 🎉
We’re delighted to announce that a major sponsor has come on board for our RC Racing Teams Prize Giving Ceremony 🏆
But… the identity of our mystery sponsor will be revealed in next week’s updates 👀 so keep your eyes peeled!

League Results Are In!
Another super night of racing on the famous Ballaghdoo River Speedway Track 🏎️💨
The racing teams left absolutely everything on the track, with some incredible hot laps and edge-of-your-seat racing during our Double Points showdown.
A huge shout-out again to Caolan and crew who knocked it out of the park with another brilliant track layout. 👏💪

🔥 Formula Two Action
F2 has been red-hot the last few race nights, with drivers really getting to grips with the track and setting some impressive lap times.
The Strawberries 🍓 blasted into warp speed on their first hot lap to secure pole position and an incredible 114 points on the night.
Gingernut grabbed pole in Hot Lap 2, taking home the 50 points on offer with some fearless full-throttle driving.
But once again it was Team Fanta 🍊 who stole the show, powering their way to victory in both races

Special mentions also go to Cappybarra and The Penquiners 🐧, who are clearly warming up nicely and will be serious contenders at next week’s

⚡ Formula One – Absolute Fire!
Race Night 7 produced something we didn’t think was even possible.
The Formula One drivers absolutely tore up the track with some blistering hot lap times.
Perfection is rare… but tonight we came very close.
Flat-out racing from every team, but Higgs Racing delivered the ultimate lap with a stunning 25:53, claiming the 50 points and securing their place as the top ace of the league! 🏆

Rásaí Races Update! 🏁

🌞The weather is looking dry and sunny, which means the slick tyres are on and the track at Ballaghdoo River Speedway is ready for some serious racing! ☀️⛱️

⏱️ The countdown is on for our Double Points Race Night, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting evenings of the season. Over the past few weeks we’ve seen some incredible driving skills and lightning-fast laps from our young racers.
When the dust settles on Friday night, we’ll finally see who’s who in Formula 1 and Formula 2, and which drivers will earn their place in the exciting Drive-Off showdown! 🏎️💨

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped out over the past number of weeks ❤️👏
Special thanks to Caolan and his crew, who might even have a surprise or two planned for the big night! And of course to the Aislann Centre for hosting the amazing Ballaghdoo River Speedway Track.

We’ll also be looking for a few volunteers on the night to help make this event something our young drivers will remember for a long time.

🏁 RÁSAÍ RACES – RACE NIGHT 6 RECAP 🏁

💥 Enter the MEGA JUMP… 💥
Race Night 6 will be remembered as the night the MEGA JUMP arrived — and it did NOT disappoint! Drivers needed nerves of steel as they figured out the perfect speed for the run-up. To make things even tougher, Caolan cheekily placed it straight after a tight right-hander 😈
Get it wrong and you were flying… get it right and it was full throttle towards the corkscrew chicane! Acceleration was the name of the game 🚀
👏 Big shout-out to Charlie & Conor, and to all the pit crews who kept trucks rolling and drivers racing all night. Absolute legends!

🟠 FORMULA 2 – HEAT IS ON! 🟠
Formula 2 is officially on fire 🔥
🍊 Team Fanta smashed their highest points haul ever, racking up 60 points and jumping straight to the top of Formula 2. With form like that, could they be knocking on the door of Formula 1 next week and giving the big guns a fright? 👀
🍓 The Strawberries also had a massive night, grabbing pole in Hot Lap 1 and securing 53 points, their best tally so far.
🚀 Roxboro Rocket, driving through injury, showed serious grit to post their best score yet — huge respect!
👋 Welcome back to Sonic Boom, while Race-Rot just couldn’t quite break into the top spots this time.
👀 Gingernut, Penquiners & Cappybarra all showed serious potential — keep an eye on them!

🔴 FORMULA 1 – PURE PRESSURE! 🔴
Formula 1 was a pressure cooker all evening 😮
The lead swapped hands lap after lap, and yes… the MEGA JUMP claimed some big names along the way — much to the delight of the roaring crowd!
🥥 Speeding Coconuts once again set the pace with the fastest lap of the night: 33.94, also sweeping both Hot Lap points.
🏆 But when the dust settled, it was Higgs Racing who took both race wins — the league leaders showing why they’re top of the table.
🐅 Turbo Tigers, ⚙️ VMD Motorsport, and 🎯 Cullion Chancers all proved with their lap times that they are right in the hunt.
⚙️ VMD Motorsport battled through some setup gremlins on the night. A small 2 points adjustment will be applied following an organiser review.
💪 Cashlings Crashers showed real determination on the night, battling hard and keeping themselves firmly in the mix. With their pace improving and consistency building, they’ll be looking to turn that effort into bigger points very soon.
🔴 L.F.C also kept pushing right to the final lap, showing flashes of speed and great racecraft. With Double Points Night coming up, they’ve got a golden opportunity to make a big move up the table and remind everyone what they’re capable of. A small 2 points adjustment also made following a misplaced truck in Race 2.
⏸️ Kienzle, not racing this week, will be targeting big points in what’s coming next…
