Kildare Cross Country Championships - Day 3

We had another fantastic day of racing on a lovely morning in Clongowes College. We had over 70 athletes competing from U9 all the way up to the Intermediate races!

Amelia Brogan had a brilliant performance taking gold in the U11 girls race, Lucy Doolan took silver in the U15 girls race (out of age), Matthew Ennis, Eoin Kelly and Garbhan Prendergast all took bronze medals in their races! Aoife McNerney also returned to racing, winning the intermediate title!

Our U15 boys won a very tight team title, taking the gold from Newbridge by just 1 point! Other team medals include U9 girls (silver), U13 boys (silver), U11 girls (bronze), U15 girls (bronze), and U17 boys (bronze).

That wraps up a very successful county juvenile cross country season. Up next will be the Leinster championships coming up in a few weeks time!

Well done to Clane AC and everyone involved hosting a fantastic event today, we are already looking forward to next year!
