Well done to our neighbours Celbridge AC on their Celbridge AC 5K on Thursday, and our own race photographer Dermot Kelly 📸was there to capture all the action. It’s great to have so many local summer 5K’s to keep us all on our toes ! Fresh from his pacing duties at our Kilcock 10 mile Road Race - The 10 from 10 on Sunday, Tommy Walsh had a brilliant run in 16:54👏and great running by all his St. Coca’s AC team mates and Royal Canal parkrun, Kilcock royalty Paddy Doherty!

An insight into the commitment and drive it takes to be the National M45 5k road record holder. We were delighted when Michael Harty of East Cork AC. set the record at St Cocas AC 5K Road Race in June. An amazing run by Michael coming third overall in 14:13🙌

Our Registration Desk at the track will be open:

▫️Saturday: 4:00–5:30 pm
▫️Sunday: 8:00–9:30 am

We are aware that some competitors have not received their race numbers and/or T-shirts by post.

*If you chose the Postage Option and have not received your number, please call to the Registration Desk on either day and we will provide you with a replacement number. Your T-shirt will still arrive by post.

*For those who selected the collection option, you can collect both your number and T-shirt on either Saturday or Sunday.

St Cocas Athletic Club are looking forward to welcoming you to Kilcock next weekend for the Kilcock 10 mile Road Race - The 10 from 10. Please read details of our race prizes below.

Male and Female Senior 1st, 2nd and 3rd will receive €500, €300 and €100 respectively.

Course record bonus of €300 to the winning male or female breaking the course record.
Male record 47:11 (Efrem Gidey Clonliffe Harriers AC)
Female record 58:35 (Faye Dervan Dublin City Harriers A.C.)

** Entrants for club prizes must be AAI members attached to an AAI registered club.

▫️A competitor may win only 1 individual prize (plus a team prize).
▫️The first 4 home count for club results.
▫️If any of the first 4 home for a club are running under someone else’s bib/name that club will be eliminated from the club competition.
▫️Responsibility to ensure you are correctly registered rests with you.
▫️No amendments to entries will be allowed once the race has started. If you have not registered for your club that cannot be amended post race.
▫️Club results will be unofficial until we have reviewed the race, results and prizes will be sent to clubs, as soon as available, after the race.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our 5K race on Friday night. Thankfully, it wasn't as hot as earlier in the week, but the conditions still made it a challenging race.

We were treated to a thrilling men's finish, with Jonas Stafford of UCD AC taking the win ahead of Colm Rooney from Clonliffe Harriers AC. Congratulations to both athletes on a fantastic race.

There were outstanding performances across the board. While our course records remained intact, we were delighted to witness a new National M45 5k record being set by our third-place finisher, Michael Harty of East Cork AC. Congratulations once again, Michael - we were proud to host such a special achievement!

Congratulations to Danielle Donegan of Tullamore Harriers, our first female over the line, followed by Faye Dervan from Dublin City Harriers in 2nd and Ciara Wilson in 3rd.

A sincere thank you to all our club members and friends who volunteered their time. From race setup and marshalling to refreshments and everything in between, your help was invaluable. The race simply couldn't happen without your support.

A special thank you also to Dermot Kelly, who did a superb job capturing the evening as our photographer. We're looking forward to seeing even more photos in the coming days. And to our MC Dave Walsh who kept everything running smoothly in the build up to the start line. And thank you to Myrunresults.com, Kildare Civil Defence and Donadea Wheelers for their support throughout the race.

To the community of Kilcock who came out to support the runners and to local businesses, Supervalu Kilcock, Delta Pipe Fabrication and Browne’s Centra Kilcock for their generosity, it’s much appreciated.

Well done to everyone who took part. It was fantastic to see such a great turnout from our neighbouring clubs, and athletes who travelled from further afield. It was a brilliant night of racing with a wonderful atmosphere and great camaraderie. Thank you for your support.

Finally, to our Race Director, Martin Baten, thank you for your dedicated leadership yet again! A huge amount of work goes into the organisation of a race and your hard work is much appreciated.
